Tandem Australian Shepherds was created in 2018. Although we have had Australian Shepherds for many years, we recently became involved with the Miniature American Shepherds. My daughter (Jaisa Blair) and myself recently branched off from Taycin Kennels. We are extremely excited about this new adventure with the beloved Australian Shepherd dog and the MAS community.
Although the name is new, it comes with more than forty-five years of history and experience. I have been showing these amazing dogs since the age of 2 and been actively involved in the betterment of the breed for as long as I remember. I continue to attend judges seminars and learn as much as I can. I became a Senior Breeder Judge in 2010. I am fortunate enough to judge this beautiful breed all over the United States, numerous times in Europe, many classes at the national circuit and most proud to have been asked to judge Best of Breed at the Nationals in Greely Colorado in 2013.
I am very proud of my daughter Jaisa. She first stepped into the ring at the age of 27months. Watching her run around that ring brought such joy to my heart. She continues to follow in my footsteps and has become an excellent Junior Handler. Jaisa took her first Junior Handling Dog to her championship in 2015, Ch. Taycin's How Do You Stack Up - Jenga. She has competed and achieved the Certificate of Merit 500 Award and the Degree of Excellence all levels every year she has been eligible to compete. She continues to amaze me...
